Review van SpentOnApps, een applicatie waarmee je kunt kijken aan welke applicaties en muzieknummers je geld hebt uitgegeven. SpentOnApps werkt echter alleen in de Amerikaanse App Store en heeft wat beveiligingsbezwaren.
Verander voor de veiligheid je paswoord van je accounts voor je dit appje gebruikt en zet het terug op het oude na dit appje te hebben getest.
Zo voorkom je dat ze met belangrijke login gegevens kunnen gaan lopen.

Sommige dingen wil je liever niet weten. Als ik een jaar- of totaaloverzicht zou maken van alle uitgaven tijdens het stappen, dan ging ik nooit weer. 😉

Maak een gratis hot- of gmail adres, stuur alle Apple mails door en zorg dat je een ander wachtwoord hebt?
Verder jammer dat het niet voor NL is, lijkt me een zeer interessante app:)?

Gonny, als de programmeur zou zeggen dat er niets met gegevens gedaan wordt, zou je dan wel gerustgesteld zijn?
Ik hou er sowieso niet van om dat soort gegevens ergens in te vullen.
Hij kan der ook een hoop andere dingen mee doen.

Rare en onbetrouwbare manier van het gebruik van deze app. Dat apple deze heeft goedgekeurd vind ik raar!

Mooie app, zou die grafiekjes wel willen hebben in de OSX app! Daar heb ik overigens alle prijzen gecontroleerd bij installatie (mbv de mailtjes), daarna blijft alles goed staan. Als je dat een beetje bijhoudt, dan krijg je daar ook een zeer realistisch getal uit.
Ha ha wil het eigenlijk ook niet echt weten 😉 denk dat ik erg zal schrikken.. al die kleine bedragen lopen in de paar aar aardig wat op.

Controleert Apple in het goedkeuringsproces niet of ontwikkelaars zo niet aan accountgegevens kunnen komen? Dat zou je wel hopen als gebruiker natuurlijk.

I’m sorry, but I don’t speak Dutch, so I’ve translated the review using Google Translate. I think I understand most of it though 🙂
The primary concern seems to be security. The app stores the account information locally on your iPhone and connects directly to your mail server. The information and emails NEVER pass through my company or servers. This is very important to me as I certainly don’t want people to be afraid of using the app for this reason.
Currently, the app is only available in the US App Store. This is due to US Export regulations which dictate that I need a US Export licence to sell it outside of the US. I’m in the process of obtaining such a licence, but it might take another few weeks or more.
The Dutch iTunes Store is not currently supported. The reason for this is that I need a Dutch iTunes Store account to test with. I only want to release the app for a store when I am certain that it works. Since the author of the review made it work by selecting the US Store, it will probably be easy to make it work on the Dutch store. I’ll look into obtaining a Dutch iTunes Store account soon.

Niet iedereen gebruikt dat. Je kan ook alle info uit de mailtjes in een Excel-sheet stoppen, dan heb je ook een overzicht.
