Hello, founder of Yodl here. Unfortunately I don’t speak Dutch. (maybe somebody can translate this for me?) Sorry that the service went down this morning. We are working right now on fixing it. We literally just went live yesterday morning, so we are still ironing out the wrinkles.
Not to worry David, I’m sure every Dutch person speaks English (more or less). Thanks for the update and thumbs up for your concept, going to try again later. You the man!
@Marco: We are considering lots of options for syndication, but for now we want to keep control of things. Especially since (as is apparent right now) we still have some bugs in the servers.

@David Rea – I’m curious if this app also works on the background. If so I’d mix a dj-set in another app and stream that on the internet. Can you confirm this is a possibility? Thanks in advance.
@Roeland: This is definitely in the queue, although not as high of priority as text chat (so that listeners can communicate with a broadcaster, and with each other). The iPhone is somewhat limiting in terms of what you can and can’t do in the background, but we’ve already built a desktop client prototype that allows you to use your sound out (rather than a microphone in) as the audio source.

@Esteban: We’ve been going down intermittently but should be mostly stable now. Not sure why your email bounced; we have been receiving emails. Please try again, and thanks for your patience! Traffic in first three days has been vastly greater than we anticipated.

I want to recors directly from my pioneer mixer! Is this in option? When I put the cabel from my master (output) in to the iPhone Jack it still records from the talking mic on the iphone. Do you understand what I say? I want tot record digitally to my iPhone and not from the mic.
I hope you can help me!

@David Rea – Too bad the app wont allow streaming through a shoutcast service. But I guess you want your users on your site 🙂
