Versie 1.2.4 van iNdependence is uit. Niets om naar uit te kijken, want er zijn in deze versie alleen bugfixes uitgevoerd. Er zitten geen nieuwe functies in en de interface is ook niet aangepast. De update was nodig omdat er in de code van 1.1.1 een hoop bugs waren ontstaan. Als je nog gaat downloaden: pak deze nieuwe versie! En als je het al gebruikt hebt: geen actie nodig.
Tussen deze 1.2.4 en versie 1.2.3 hebben de ontwikkelaars van iNdependence wel een nieuwe tool met de naam 300MBKiller uitgebracht. Dat lost een probleem op waarbij iTunes slechts 300 MB diskruimte ziet nadat iNdependence 1.2.2 is gebruikt om een iPhone met 1.1.1 te activeren en te jailbreaken. Dat zal voor een kleine groep gebruikers interessant zijn, maar mocht je ‘m nodig hebben: 300MBKiller staat hier. De Google Code-pagina van iNdependence zelf is de plek waar je de nieuwe versie 1.2.4 kunt vinden.

– Added dialog during SSH removal which asks whether user wants to also remove libarmfp.dylib at that time. The reason is because removing this file could cause any installed 3rd party applications to become inoperable.
– Ringtone customization still doesn’t work in this release
